About This Tour
This experience offers access to two specialized observation stations inside the Ecocentro Danaus Biological Reserve: the Butterfly Garden and the Bird Feeder Station.
Guests can enjoy a relaxed walk through a lush tropical environment while observing free-flying butterflies and a high diversity of local bird species attracted to the feeding station. The butterfly garden showcases 10–15 different rainforest butterfly species, depending on the season, offering close-up views of their colors, behavior, and life cycle.
The bird feeder regularly attracts tanagers, honeycreepers, and other small to medium-sized tropical birds, with occasional visits from toucans and larger species. This experience is ideal for nature lovers, photographers, families, and visitors seeking a calm wildlife encounter without long hikes.
