ECO CENTRO DANAUS
Our Projects
Ecocentro Danaus carries out joint environmental education activities in schools, colleges, businesses and the wider community as part of the activities carried out for obtaining the Ecological Blue Flag La Fortuna (For 4 consecutive years the Center has been the main driver of this committee). To carry out these activities we have a room where activities are carried out cultural and environmental. Additionally it has a tree nursery of native species which reproduce about 10 thousand trees per year from 30 different endangered species in Costa Rica such as: The Almond Yellow, Mahogany, Golden Fruit, Cenizaro, Cocobolo, Ojoche, between others. See the adot a tree program

Ecocentro Danaus receives national and foreign volunteers at any time of year. The volunteer time is for a maximum of 60 days and at least 2 days. We have two single apartments for two people each, and food service for which, the volunteers must provide $ 15 daily per person.
